8 new plant production techniques you tried this year

When it comes to greenhouse plant production, trial and error should be part of every grower's workflow. After all, one of the ways to improve your knowledge of growing plants is to try something new and see if it works.

One of the questions we asked in Greenhouse Grower's 2020 State of the Industry survey was "Did you test or implement a new production technique this year?" Check out the slideshow for a sampling of the feedback we received.

As you review these responses in the gallery here (note: State of the Industry survey respondent names are kept confidential), remember that what works for one grower might not work for another. Have you tried any of these techniques? If it works, let us know why, and any further advice you might have, in the comments box here. If it didn't, let us know what you learned along the way.
