Congratulations to Al Gerace of Welby Gardens, who is the first nursery and greenhouse representative to be inducted into the Farm Credit Colorado Agriculture Hall of Fame. Nominated by the CNGA Board, Al has a long history of involvement in agriculture in Colorado, not only as a business owner but as a tireless advocate for industry organizations and improving the industry. He served as a Commissioner of Agriculture from 2007 to 2006 and was Chair of the Agriculture Commission in 2015-16.

Al is always willing to share his time and expertise. He has achieved what many in the ag industry wish for — multiple generations working together in a sustainable ag operation that is flexible enough to change with the times yet maintains family ties and traditions. The induction ceremony will be held in February 2021 which will include a unique, multi-media presentation highlighting the life of each new inductee.
