I’m excited to see him bring that experience to Oregon,” says President and CEO Jonathan Pedersen.

Brett began working for Monrovia in 2017, first as an inside sales representative. He was quickly promoted to Regional Sales Manager at the Georgia nursery, and then he became the General Manager of the nursery in 2021. His deep understanding of both sales and production have helped fuel growth and improvements in quality at that nursery. “Brett is a change leader who understands how to balance competing priorities and stay focused on what’s most important: growing the highest quality plants in the industry,” says Pedersen.

During his long tenure with Monrovia, Rusow has previously served as general manager at all three Monrovia nurseries. “He instills a culture of excellence in growing practices and understands the unique opportunities and challenges in every region,” says Pedersen. Although still based in Oregon, Greg will be traveling frequently to the other nurseries to advise on best practices in growing techniques.

Brett’s move to Oregon has opened up the opportunity to bring back Scott Andrews, who is returning to Monrovia as the General Manager of the Georgia Nursery. With nearly 14a21554d0afac416aa7ffe7d5cd66abb7.pngyears of experience at that location, Scott has the needed process management skills to continue and build on its success. Scott’s methodical approach to production and deep leadership experience at the nursery will help him continue expanding the nursery’s plant selection to meet market demands.  “I’m thrilled to return to the Cairo, GA nursery as General Manager. My time away has deepened my appreciation for this wonderful team and reinforced my commitment to the success of both the nursery and the Craftsmen, as we continue to grow and thrive together,” says Andrews.

Toni was previously an inside sales representative in the California region, and in recent years served as the nursery’s national senior account manager for its Lowe’s business. “Toni’s knowledge and experience with our California nursery and its market runs deep. She is a strategic customer partner skilled at leading her teams to excellence,” says Vice President of Sales Ted McDonald.

“Using the talents of our team to their full potential is critical to our success,” says Jonathan Pedersen, Vice President and CEO at Monrovia. “We are very excited about the opportunities these new roles create for our team and our future.”
