BOAL's Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) products play a pivotal role in the transition to reduce the ecological footprint in food production. The company itself is also working hard on its own sustainability goals. Recently BOAL has further tightened its ESG strategy, including being assessed by a leading independent rating agency.

Nowadays, responsible and transparent business operations is the only way to convince customers, employees, and other stakeholders that a company is delivering on its sustainability promise. Therefore, independent ratings offer support to compare on where a company stands, related to this topic.

Dutch leading greenhouse manufacturer rates in the global top 1% regarding ESG Risk Rating
The BOAL Group is immensely pleased to announce that in April 2022 it has received an ESG Risk Ratingš of 7.2 from Sustainalytics, a Morningstar company. BOAL not only has the best rating of all companies in its category (building products), but also was assessed to be number 38 of the almost 15.000 companies rated by Sustainalytics worldwide. In addition, BOAL is the highest ranking Dutch company on the overall list.

ESG front runner in horticulture
