Cannabis facility monitoring made easy
Added on 24 August 2020
Sensaphone is offering a new system that allows users to remotely monitor for changes in environmental conditions that can harm plants or indicate a malfunction of critical equipment.
The Sensaphone 1800 system is a monitoring solution that is easy to install and operate. It remotely monitors conditions like temperature, humidity, air circulation, carbon dioxide, water pH, soil moisture, power failure, and unauthorized access to prevent loss of valuable plants and equipment.
When the system detects that a sensor reading has moved out of the preset range, it immediately alerts up to eight people with custom phone calls, allowing personnel to quickly address the situation.
One Sensaphone 1800 unit monitors conditions around the clock for up to eight locations. The internal rechargeable battery backup provides 24 hours of continuous monitoring and alerts in the event of a power outage. Each monitoring unit is sealed in a weatherproof NEMA-4X enclosure to protect it from moisture, dirt and chemicals. Operators can obtain the status of each monitored condition at the installation site or via telephone.
Ceres EcoLoop™
Cooling and heating a cannabis greenhouse can often be expensive. Ceres Greenhouse Solutions has developed the Ceres EcoLoop™ geothermal HVAC system, a renewable energy source that uses the earth's steady temperature to create precise, desired climates in each greenhouse environment.
The EcoLoop™ system's temperature, humidity, and vapor pressure differential is monitored and controlled by the Ceres Greenhouse Controller. The ground loop lifespan is more than 75 years. Heat pump operating life is more than 20 years. Heat pumps can be reinstalled in the system easily.
