Havecon chosen as new construction partner in Germany

Emsflower, based in Emsbüren Germany, is going to expand and has granted Havecon the assignment to do so. The expansion of the new-build greenhouse covers a total of 14 hectares for growing potted and bedding plants. Emsflower is Europe's largest nursery for pot and bedding plants where you can see the production process all year round. Havecon is proud to be part of the expansion for this progressive grower.

Emsflower is not your average horticultural company. For instance, throughout the year it is possible to visit the production process. You can book special packages such as a tour especially focused on the technical innovations in the growing process, a day trip in the XXL garden center, a tour of the erlebnispark and much more. In addition, Emsflower also has a restaurant and an indoor and outdoor playground. All this with the constant pursuit of improvement and sustainability.

After the project was granted, we at Havecon started immediately for our new client. The engineering is busy with the necessary drawing work and on site the foundation work has already started. Soon we will also start with the drainwater discharge, after which we will start the steel construction. The total 14 hectares is divided into 12.5 hectares of cultivation area and 1.5 hectares of warehouse, corridors and various areas.
