OFG and PPE announce a new fulfilment centre

One Flora Group and Plantify, the parent company of Royal Lemkes and Floréac, last week unveiled their plans which will see both companies jointly developing Fulfilment Plants Europe (FPE), a fulfilment centre to pick, pack and ship houseplant orders for large and small online plant delivery services across Europe.

One Flora Group and Plantify Partners Europe have extensive experience and a successful track record in warehousing of online plant orders through their companies FNQ and Reguardz, respectively.

By combining these forces, the companies hope even better to serve their suppliers (read commercial houseplant growers) and global customers in online plant delivery services. FPE’s ultimate goal is to automate and accelerate e-commerce growth in plant sales and become the houseplant sector’s most reliable e-fulfilment partner.

One Flora Group sells flowers and plants to retailers, wholesalers and consumers worldwide and generates an annual turnover of more than €400 million. This sales figure places the company among the Netherlands’s top 10 largest floral wholesalers. The management’s ambition is to achieve sustainable and transparent business growth.

In December 2020, Floréac joined forces with Dutch-based Royal Lemkes – one of Europe’s biggest exporters of plants – to forge Plantify Partners Europe (PPE). The relationship is designed to benefit retail customers in the UK, and Switzerland, who can buy a more comprehensive range of plants from either company’s sales team. Another advantage of PPE’s highly concentrated supply of wholesale plants is that it brings skills, back-office operations, and sourcing services together.
