The first boat of GreenSwitch SOP departs from Sweden to NL

GreenSwitch® Potassium Sulphate, produced by Cinis Fertilizer, is our first water-soluble SOP fertilizer created through an environmentally circular process with reduced emissions in Sweden. The delivery of this first batch underscores the successful implementation of GreenSwitch® Potassium, the innovative production process based on circular practices and principles. Van Iperen International is committed to providing solutions that enhance agricultural productivity while promoting sustainability.

With our production capacity at the recently inaugurated factory in Sweden, we aim to reach 100,000 mt per year of GreenSwitch® SOP. Product packing and customer sampling as already begun!
The arrival of the first shipment of GreenSwitch® Potassium Sulphate in The Netherlands is just the beginning. We have already received trucks with the product and have started the packing process in the Netherland to meet the specific needs of our customers. This allows us to maintain the highest quality standards while providing greater flexibility in packaging options. The bulk of the product will arrive with the upcoming boat shipment, enabling us to further scale up our operations.
At the same time, we’ve begun distributing samples of GreenSwitch® SOP to our customers, giving them the opportunity to experience firsthand the quality and benefits of this circular, sustainable fertilizer.
Lab Analysis Confirms High Quality
As part of our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable fertilizers, GreenSwitch® SOP underwent rigorous lab testing. The lab analysis results mark a major step forward, confirming that GreenSwitch® SOP meets the rigorous specifications -including pH and solubility- required for water-soluble SOP. These results not only validate the product's quality but also showcase the effectiveness of its innovative circular production process.
The GreenSwitch® Potassium Factory in Sweden
The GreenSwitch® Potassium factory in Sweden, officially inaugurated on June 4, operates through a patent-protected process. This innovative production method reuses industrial waste from electric car batteries and the paper industry, ensuring that GreenSwitch® SOP enhances agricultural productivity while maintaining sustainability throughout the production process.

In June, GreenSwitch® Potassium Sulphate (SOP) was named one of the three finalists for the prestigious GreenTech Innovation Award 2024 in the Innovation category. Receiving recognition as a finalist for the GreenTech Innovation Award 2024 underscores the innovative production methods and sustainable impact of GreenSwitch® Potassium Sulphate (SOP).
This recognition follows the success of GreenSwitch® circular fertilizers: GreenSwitch® Original, our first liquid nitrate fertilizer from an organic source, won the GreenTech Innovation Award in 2021.
