Vertical farming is an innovative way of producing fresh food close to the consumers with a minimal consumption of water and no use of pesticides. In Nordic countries the interest for vertical farming is currently growing and new farms are established at an increasing rate.
To further strengthen this production form in a Nordic context, the Innovation Network for Bioresources, Food & Bio Cluster Denmark and University of Copenhagen are hosting a conference on vertical farming November 13th 2020.
At the conference you will meet speakers with hands on knowledge, business developers, researchers and authorities. We encourage vertical farmers, the agricultural industry, the scientific community, policy makers, authorities and everyone with an interest in vertical farming to participate in the conference to build networks and share knowledge.
