Texas A&M AgriLife Research entomologist earns award

Gadhave’s project is to develop an integrated pest management tool to offer a next-generation breakthrough solution to one of the largest hindrances to expanding specialty crop production in the Texas Panhandle — tomato spotted wilt virus and thrips.

Texas A&M AgriLife Research entomologist Kiran Gadhave, Ph.D., has been selected as one of 11 recipients of the New Innovator in Food and Agriculture Research Award from the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research.
