Fruit and Vegetable Growers of Canada respond to potential tariffs

The Fruit and Vegetable Growers of Canada (FVGC) are deeply concerned with the potential 25 per cent tariff on Canadian fruit and vegetable exports threatened by U.S. President Donald Trump.

“President Trump’s reckless decision will have devastating consequences for growers and consumers alike,” said Massimo Bergamini, executive director of FVGC, in a press release. “With one in five Canadian households already grappling with food insecurity, this move exacerbates an already difficult situation.”
