Intensive workshop to focus on hydroponic tomatoes

Greenhouse tomato growers can join the University of Arizona Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (UA-CEAC) for its first ever Hydroponic Tomato Online Intensive Workshop. This two-day workshop that will take place on Zoom November 16-17 is ideal for those just getting started in hydroponic growing or who are novice growers wanting to expand their knowledge.

Attendees get access to lecture materials that have been crafted from CEAC's research and educational programs and fine-tuned over the last 10 years, along with personal question follow-up; a certificate of completion, and new insights into tomato production.

Specific topics to be addressed include propagation of seedlings; transplanting and spacing; cultivation practices, including pollination; nutrient solutions; fertigation; and common tomato problems.
