New Commercial Manager of Cultilene

Ruud van Gils was appointed Commercial Manager of Saint-Gobain Cultilene with effect from 1 January. This has laid a solid foundation on which to shape Cultilene's growth and ambitions for the future, and to build on its current success. Van Gils also joined Cultilene's management team.

Ruud van Gils has worked at Cultilene for almost 25 years and lived through good growth within the company. He was active on several international horticultural markets. As a result, Van Gils possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience, which he will use in his new position to promote commercial interests and to realise Cultilene's ambitions for further growth.

Cultilene has grown considerably in recent years, on all levels. The company's strategy has three pillars: substrate, horticultural glass and data driven services. These will be further developed in the coming years.  

Cultilene is committed to sustainable food production. Only if we use the available resources economically, we will be able to continue to supply people worldwide with food. Cultilene wants to offer solutions to achieve maximum food production of maximum quality with as little water and energy as possible.
