New name and Brand Manager for HortiBiz

As of today, our newsletter will be rebaptized as "Hortibiz Daily News" which is the international edition of Holland Hortimedia. Also, Ece Polat has recently been appointed as the new Brand Manager of "Hortibiz Daily News".

30-year-old Ece had worked as marketing executive at Growtech International Agriculture Fair for the past two years. After years of direct sales experience, she's been working in marketing throughout her career of eight years as an expert on both digital and conventional marketing channels.

As a brand manager of Hortibiz Daily News, Ece will be taking over the editorial and commercial content management and will further promote and expand Hortibiz Daily News worldwide.

'We choose to keep on sending one daily international newsletter instead of separate newsletters on different topics', Ece says. 'There are enough newsletters already and we don't want advertisers to pay extra for banners on multiple channels. Hortibiz Daily News will therefore cover all crops, also medicinal cannabis, as it is a fully accepted crop just like tomato and chrysanthemum.'

Holland Hortimedia's director Aad Tijsen says he is proud and happy for Ece joining the team. Ece will be based in Istanbul, Turkey. Yet she will also be active in Holland Hortimedia's head office in Bergschenhoek, the Netherlands.

Together with the Hortimedia team, Ece will visit IPM in Essen this Tuesday to Thursday, Jan 28-29-30.
