New solutions-oriented program for biocontrol users

US- The COVID-19 pandemic brought in-person events to a grinding halt in 2020 and continues to impact trade shows and conferences in early 2021. Unfortunately, this includes postponement of this year's Biocontrols USA Conference & Expo, originally scheduled for March 2021 in Reno, NV. The in-person event will move to Spring 2022.

The absence of in-person events in the last year has created a void for growers and the suppliers who serve them, reducing their ability to network and learn about the latest technology. The cancellation of the in-person Biocontrols USA Conference & Expo this year, however, comes with a silver lining: It opens the door for an innovative program that provides a new way to continue the exchange of information.

To fill a critical need and provide this community of growers and suppliers with a viable alternative to connect, the creators of Biocontrols USA are launching a new program in March, BioSolutions 2021.

This isn't a virtual trade show. BioSolutions 2021 is an ongoing, month-long program that focuses on making valuable introductions between growers looking for solutions to help with challenges on the farm or in the greenhouse, and leading industry suppliers with the latest biological products and technologies. This cutting-edge program will provide a platform for engaged growers to get information on these products directly from suppliers.

How BioSolutions 2021 Works

Using our custom-built, online portal developed specifically to address growers' needs, the BioSolutions 2021 program is easy to navigate. Suppliers provide detailed profiles, showcasing their latest products and services. Growers, who also complete a profile, will review supplier information and determine which companies they would like the BioSolutions team to facilitate an introduction.

On a weekly basis throughout the month of March, participating suppliers will be provided with details on growers who have indicated a specific interest in their products, so they can determine the best solutions for those operations.
