Powerplus Group believes that the UK needs to move to a more sustainable food production. They are seeing considerable government incentives to encourage the UK Horticultural and Floricultural markets up to date to align with the continent offers within this market. Matthew Beeby, Head of Horticulture at PPG: "We want to support future innovation. The fragility of our current food infrastructure and the reliance on imports brought into question following Brexit will lead to further investment."
Powerplus Groups' expansion into the Horticultural sector has continued to provide its clients with the support and service they apply across all divisions. The UK interest they are seeing for the move to LED is only increasing. Mr. Beeby: "We see the use of water-cooled LED as being a highly beneficial addition to the horticultural industry here in the UK and the products Powerplus Horticulture offers. With large scale projects looking to utilise waste heat in the most efficient way possible, water-cooled LEDs provide us with an energy- efficient solution that can integrate into our more specialist solutions."
"We see Oreon as a welcome addition to Powerplus Groups preferred lighting suppliers in the future. With a blue-chip range of LED lighting options for water-cooled fixtures and strong company integrity, we see a very positive relationship going forward."
International Sales Manager of Oreon, Peter Barentsen: "We have chosen to work with Powerplus Group going forward due to their company integrity and continued commitment to sustainable technologies. Their ability to work on all aspects of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing need of an Oreon lighting installation means they make the perfect fit for us. We are very excited to partner up with the enthusiastic team of Powerplus Group. We see a huge potential in this market and believe that our water-cooled LED fixtures can contribute to a more sustainable food production in the UK."
