Optimal cleaning of greenhouse floors with Floorcleaner+

Optimal cleaning of greenhouse floors with Floorcleaner+

In collaboration with ErfGoed and Pullens MT, Royal Brinkman is introducing the Floorcleaner+. This machine has been specially developed to thoroughly clean the ground cover of ErfGoed cultivation floors. Algae, bacteria and fungi are killed naturally, without the use of chemicals. This allows a grower to restart cultivation cleanly with good drainage and reduced risk of diseases and pests.

Hygiene in the greenhouse is increasingly important, starting the cultivation clean with optimal drainage gives diseases and pests less chance. When a grower uses an ErfGoedFloor which provides an optimal growing climate and uniform watering, algae and weeds also thrive in this favourable microclimate. By deep-cleaning with the Floorcleaner+, growers can start each cultivation with a clean environment.

Usage

The hot water high-pressure cleaning machine Foorcleaner+ is user-friendly and easy to maintain. The machine thoroughly cleans ErfGoed cultivation floors using only hot water. High-pressure hot water is sprayed onto the floor by the machine, while rotating brushes thoroughly clean the surface. The powerful absorption function ensures removal of loosened dirt, resulting in a clean and hygienic environment.

Benefits

The Floorcleaner+ eliminates algae, bacteria, and fungi without the need for chemical cleaners or disinfectants. A clean cultivation floor leads to nearly disease-free cultivation initiation. Not only does the top layer of the floor get cleaned, but the hot water also reaches beneath the ground cover. Unlike cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner, the ground cover remains undamaged, and dirt is not spread further into the greenhouse. The Floorcleaner+ simultaneously absorbs the dirt, along with any algae, fungi, and bacteria present. With a clean cultivation floor, the water permeability of the ErfGoedFloor remains optimal.

Cooperation

ErfGoed, Pullens MT and Royal Brinkman have joined  forces to introduce this product to the market. Steven Timmers, Product Manager Mechanisation at Royal Brinkman, comments: “ Enhancing overall greenhouse hygiene contributes to a healthier crop. Starting clean, reduces the need for adjustments during cultivation.  Collaborative improvement in horticulture aligns with Royal Brinkman’s strategy.”
