Farmers in Uzbekistan offered to use biofuel for greenhouse heating

Tashkent, Uzbekistan - Uzbekistan plans to transition its greenhouses to more environmentally friendly fuel with the assistance of Korea Western Power, Yonhap reported.

A Korean delegation, including representatives from the engineering company KICC, visited Uzbekistan. During the visit, a project to reduce atmospheric emissions from greenhouse farms was discussed.

Local farmers will be encouraged to use biofuel made from cotton stalks instead of coal for greenhouse heating.
