After three seasons dominated by unexpected setbacks that affected final results, the 2022/23 cherry export season ended at an all-time high. This, despite significant challenges in terms of record volumes, lockdowns, and the shorter market window in China. The industry continues to mature. Learning from the good and bad decisions made in past seasons will be key to continuing export growth without affecting value.
