Added on 27 July 2021
Indeed, DesignLights Consortium® (DLC) is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes high quality, energy- efficient commercial lighting products in collaboration with public utilities, other environmentally minded stakeholders, and lighting design and manufacturing companies. These partners' contributions enable the establishment of quality standards, facilitate enlightened leadership, and provide information, tools, and technical expertise.
The members of the DLC are located in Canada and the United States. "For greenhouse growers, this certification is a well-documented guarantee of efficiency for each product on the DLC website," emphasized Gabriel. "It simplifies the research process and may result in grants for purchasing DLC-certified fixtures."
