Terra Nova introduces new Brunnera

Terra Nova Nurseries has introduced its new Brunnera 'Alexandria', a perfect companion to Brunnera 'Alexander's Great'.

Brunnera 'Alexandria'  features brilliant mirror-silver leaves with the size and vigor of  'Alexander's Great'. Tiny clouds of sky-blue flowers float atop the foliage as they emerge in the spring. This perennial variety works well as a shade accent plant, and can be used in containers as a mass planting or as a border.

U.S.D.A. Hardiness Zones for 'Alexandria' are 4-9, and the mounding variety allows for partial- and full-shade exposure. It has a height of 14 inches, a width of 30 inches and an extended flower height of 17 inches. It blooms in April and May.

Terra Nova Nurseries has created a Plant Profile page and Grower Recipe specific to this new variety so growers can learn about growing habits, plant characteristics, fertilization recommendations, water requirementsand other insights.

These documents can be viewed and downloaded for printing at: www.terranovanurseries.com/product/brunnera-alexandria.

Growers can contact their Terra Nova Nurseries representatives or email the sales team at sales@terranovanurseries.com.
