These water-saving robots are growing produce in greenhouses

The robots are called Grover and Ada and they are making the most of water and electricity. In essence, these robots are growing more crops with less waste, with each of them collaborating to complete a full evaluation process.

The robots are integrated with a hydroponic system. That's when plants are grown without soil in a water-based, nutrient-rich solution. The facility currently grows basil and strawberries, but there will be more types of crops to produce when large-scale farms are finally in the works.
