Uzbek-Dutch agribusiness forum

UZBEKISTAN, Tashkent- The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized an "Uzbek-Dutch" agribusiness forum, as well as a B2B meeting with representatives of business circles of the two countries.

From a foreign side, the event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as well as a large delegation of business representatives from 40 companies in the fields of livestock, poultry, gardening and others.

The main purpose of the event was to discuss issues of expanding cooperation in the areas of cultivation and processing of fruits and vegetables, livestock and poultry, care for fruit trees and plants, the construction of greenhouses, as well as the implementation of investment projects in these areas.

Also at the event, representatives of Dutch companies made their presentations, familiarizing those present with their activities in three main blocks such as: greenhouses, horticulture and logistics, as well as livestock, poultry farming and trade.

The meeting, which was held in the B2B format, was attended by over 40 large companies of the Kingdom of the Netherlands engaged in agriculture, in particular, the cultivation and processing of fruits and vegetables, potatoes, innovative irrigation systems, crop production, construction of greenhouses, cattle breeding, gardening, fruit tree cultivation, horse breeding, poultry farming and others.

During the meeting, the entrepreneurs of the two countries discussed the further expansion of trade and economic ties and the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in these areas.

An open dialogue made it possible to clearly identify areas of mutual interest for further in-depth cooperation, bearing in mind the elaboration of promising projects and agreements and to determine an effective format for interaction between business circles of Uzbekistan and the Netherlands.

On 12 March, the "Uzbek-Dutch" agribusiness forum will be held at the Youth Center in Samarkand.

Netherlands companies participating in the Agribusiness Forum in March in Uzbekistan present an impressive range of products and services that cover a wide range of agri-food sectors.
