AIPH opens Türkiye's 8th National Ornamental Plants Congress

Highlighting the vital role of ornamental plants in enhancing environmental quality and driving economic growth, Leonardo Capitanio, President of the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), took centre stage at the 8th National Ornamental Plants Congress in Ankara, Türkiye.

The congress, held from 14 to 17 October at the Litai Hotel and organised by Professor Dr Soner Kazaz from Ankara University’s Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture, attracted over 600 participants. Leading researchers, private sector leaders, and municipal representatives gathered to showcase the growing enthusiasm for the ornamental plant industry across Türkiye, marking a pivotal moment for its future.
