Dubai's most anticipated VF Show concludes on a high note

On July 27th & 28th TAB group hosted the 2nd Global Vertical Farming Show at Conrad in DUBAI. The show centered around vertical farming, indoor farming, and CEA and how the innovations and technologies in the industry are proving the future of agriculture.

The two-day action-packed event featured participants from 20+ countries, prominent vertical farming CEA companies, eminent speakers, key ministries, and supporting organizations which are in this industry for ages - helping the world become a safe space by solving one of the most pressing issues - Food Security.

Aside from this, the event facilitated tangible international and local trade relations while also providing a platform for the private sector to showcase innovations, solutions, and services they have to offer to the industry. Post Event lined-up meetings for partners epitomize event success.

The event concluded, but what remains is an excellent experience the attendees had -witnessing the latest technologies, visualizing the future of their vertical farming business by incorporating the innovative solutions at the display and winning new deals and networking!

With the active participation from various government bodies in UAE like the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), Emirates Green Building Council (EGBC), Emirates Nature-WWF, Private Office of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Ahmad Al Maktoum, Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), Emirates Flight Catering, etc. -

We are thrilled with the success, and more than us; the participants are looking forward to the next edition, TAB group (Organizers) state.

Dubai is a receptive place for this kind of technology, and it offers many opportunities all concentrated in one place; infrequent," said Alessandro Oliveri, Co-Founder igrox srl, who was also the Strategic Partner to the event.

Gaurav Shah, Founder & CIO at FarmFluence Automation, was the Gold sponsor and said,

Agritech has to go with vertical farming, not separately. We had a lot of quality networking, enquiries and takeaways." He shared his views on technology inclusion in vertical farming at the Conference.

The event assisted global companies which aimed to build excellent commercial relationships. This year felt markedly different, as all the exhibitors, delegates, and visitors got an opportunity to engage in person in the networking area and busy booths and felt the pulse of what is going on in the Vertical Farming industry in the gulf and on a global stage.

Vertical Farming events like these will lead to accelerated achievement of Food Security goals, advocate for climate-smart solutions and mininizing environmental footprint in agriculture, and serve as liaisons between the industry and the government other than providing business opportunities.

Announcing the 3rd Global Vertical Farming Show in New Delhi, India scheduled in November 2022.
