On October 10th, Dutch Greenhouse Delta was honored to welcome Minister Reinette Klever (Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation) and chairman Jacco Vonhof (MKB-Nederland) to Certhon.

MKB-Nederland organized an insightful working visit, together with Dutch Greenhouse Delta (DGD), representing the Dutch horticulture sector globally, and AVAG, the industry association for greenhouse technology and suppliers. Together with Lotte van Rijn (Certhon), Mirjam Boekestijn (DGD), and Annie van de Riet (AVAG), the minister and chairman were introduced to the cutting-edge innovations driving the Dutch horticultural sector.

The discussions focused on how horticulture sector’s expertise and technology can make a significant difference in tackling global challenges like climate change, energy transition, and population growth. Certhon, with its advanced greenhouses, is a great example—enabling sustainable, local food production in regions around the world.

Government support through strategic policies, initiatives, and international trade networks plays a crucial role in ensuring Dutch horticulture technology remains at the forefront globally.
