The Northeast Greenhouse Conference, which takes place Nov. 8-9, 2023, in Manchester, NH, will feature, among other hot topics, a Town Hall panel covering what’s new in floriculture breeding and genetics. Panelists include Jim Devereux, CEO of Green Fuse Botanicals; Megan Bowman, Director of Research Operations for Ball Helix; Gary Sainsbury, Account Manager for Syngenta Flowers; and Stephanie Whitehouse, North American Product Manager for Dümmen Orange.

The conference also features a special focus on cut flowers, with educational sessions on outdoor dahlia production (Stephanie Burnett, University of Maine) and pest issues (John Sanderson, Cornell University).

The conference schedule is online at https://www.negreenhouse.org/schedule.html. The biennial Northeast Greenhouse Conference & Expo is co-sponsored by New England Floriculture, Inc., a group of grower representatives from the Northeast, augmented by University and Cooperative Extension staff in each state who specialize in greenhouse crops and management.
