Ridder to shape the future of greenhouse growing in Türkiye

Antalya, Türkiye – Ridder successfully hosted a Grower Event on February 22-23 at the Ramada Hotel in Antalya, welcoming nearly 100 Turkish growers, industry experts, and technology providers for a two-day program focused on innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in the greenhouse industry.
As the industry faces rising costs, sustainability demands, and labor shortages, Ridder created this event to help growers adapt and optimize their operations. The event provided valuable insights into the latest automation, climate control, and water management technologies.
Empowering growers with knowledge and technology
The two-day event featured a mix of insightful presentations, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities:
Day 1: Sessions focused on optimizing greenhouse climate conditions, AI-driven automation, and sustainable crop protection. The day concluded with a networking dinner, allowing growers and industry partners to exchange ideas in a relaxed setting.
Day 2: Additional sessions covered precision irrigation and water management, equipping growers with strategies to enhance resource efficiency and promote long-term sustainability.
Next to Ridder’s own experts Dionysis Tavernas and Joost Veenman, Industry leaders from Blue Radix (Ronald Hoek & Rudolf de Vetten), Biobest (Ata Öztürk), and NPI (Leo Oegema) delivered insightful presentations on cutting-edge solutions, including AI-driven decision-making, biological crop protection, and innovative water storage technologies.
