Special guest at opening of Dutch Lily Days on June 4

The special guest of Dutch Lily Days during the opening is the former skating professional Irene Schouten. This world-famous and successful skater recently retired from competition last February. Schouten dominated long-distance skating events and the marathon and she was the best at employing her power in the mass start and team pursuit. The way in which Schouten excelled at all skating events led to her being crowned world champion and Olympic champion multiple times. To flourish like that, an optimal climate and intensive collaboration is needed in all aspects, along with dedication, insight and content. And it demands the ability to surprise where needed. This is something that the lily sector is also undertaking step by step.

During the opening, the power of a conditioned environment will be evident. Together with Irene Schouten, the lily sector will stimulate nature during the opening of the Dutch Lily Days at Zabo Plant.
