Houston-based VF to auction off $8M in unused assets

A local vertical farm company, which previously made waves for a $50 million investment and its partnership with Whole Foods, is now gearing up to sell $8 million in never-before-used packing and harvesting equipment. 

The global online auction, which opens next week from Jan. 14-16, was put on the auction block by Dream Harvest via Silicon Valley Disposition, a firm they hired to sell the assets.
