Martin Stolze continues to expand with acquisition of Wevab

Martin Stolze Group is expanding its product and service portfolio in the field of internal transport systems by acquiring the assets of the Wevab division, including intellectual property, from Codema Systems, which went bankrupt in May.

Increasing demand for internal logistics and automation worldwide

Martin Stolze has grown significantly in size and product portfolio since it was acquired by AgTech group Kind Technologies. Martin Stolze is investing heavily in new innovations, as well as expanding its service department. These investments are aimed at international growth and expanding the services to customers.

"We are very pleased with the acquisition of the Wevab assets, the associated people and the Wevab brand" says Richard van de Waart, Commercial Director at Martin Stolze Group. "It enables us to grow in both The Netherlands and abroad".

In North America, the Wevab and Martin Stolze products, including the renowned mobile EasyMax conveyor line, are already sold and integrated by the same dealer organizations. This cooperation can now be further intensified and the portfolio integrated. This strong combination increases opportunities for dealers and service partners worldwide.

Combined knowledge and expertise

The combination of the two brands, knowledge and expertise creates one of the strongest manufacturers of internal transport systems for horticultural products. The combination creates a company with 81 years of experience in this industry. Bert de Groot, one of Wevab's most experienced employees, becomes Supervisor Conveyor Assembly at Martin Stolze. He will preserve the knowledge and quality and drive the integration of the Wevab transport systems. Through this strategic step, continuity can be secured long term for the Wevab customer base. They can count on the service and quality that Martin Stolze represents already for 30 years. Additionally, customers are offered a future-proof roadmap towards further automation, robotization and smart usage of data with their systems.

Wevab customers will be informed about the integrated product portfolio shortly. Parts and products are already available. In addition, they and all Martin Stolze customers will be able to benefit from attractive campaigns derived from this synergetic scale-up. It will remain Martin Stolze's mission to enable its customers to invest in A-quality conveyor systems and services in a sustainable manner.
