Nature Fresh expands indoor strawberry production

Nature Fresh Farms expanded production of its newly launched strawberries. The response to its initial berry sampling was so great that the company extended its strawberry acreage from one to 16 in just one year. In high demand due to the surety of greenhouse supply, higher flavor profiles of berries and increased consumer demand for a more local supply, the company recently began picking plants and is now in full swing with production.

Always looking to grow more consistent and flavorful products, Nature Fresh Farms' strawberries are no exception and are especially sweet — plus, being grown in a greenhouse means that they have expanded production times of October thru the end of June.

"After a few years of continuous trial, development, and collaboration with key partners of ours, we are ready to go to market," said Matt Quiring, director of sales. "With the higher price of greenhouse strawberries, we know that our taste and quality must stand out from the pack.  We've developed a recipe for success now we're excited to get the first berries into the hands of the consumers. We're eager to evolve and disrupt the berry category as we enter this space!"
