Netherlands Embassy and horti leaders firm up 'Horti Asia 2022'

The Netherlands Embassy, in collaboration with VNU Asia Pacific and DLG Thai, co-organised a press conference to announce Horti Asia under the theme "Challenge & Solution for Asia Horticultural business." The event was held on 25 April 2022 at the residence of the Netherland's Ambassador who delivered welcome remarks, followed by pitch presentations from seven companies sharing different knowledge from various perspectives.

Dr. Gijs Theunissen DVM, The Netherlands Agricultural Counsellor, stated that: "The challenge for Netherlands' Innovation for Sustainable Horticulture in a Global Context is to find the safest and most sustainable food sources. The link between food, agriculture, genomics and technology is very important. It is crucial to produce with a low impact on climate with the help of technology. Private parties along with the research institute and government sector are working closely together to improve horticulture. In HORTI ASIA, agriculture people can learn how to solve business challenges and understand more about sustainability in horticulture."

"AGRITECHNICA ASIA & HORTI ASIA for the agricultural and horticultural machinery community in Asia, is once again ready to meet face-to-face in Bangkok.
