Project to focus on exploring energy-efficient lighting methods and reduce carbon emissions.

Dr. Li Ma, researcher at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), Institute for Sustainable Horticulture (ISH), received a $540, 000 grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and Mitacs, to study how the use of LED lighting can boost greenhouse strawberry production.
