Welcome to the EatThis. Innovation Center at Floriade!

Our society is currently dealing with numerous challenges related to circularity, energy, sustainable food systems and water. EatThis. finds it useful to show what the horticultural sector can offer the world today, but even more so to share what is needed for tomorrow. Sustainable, circular food production systems can only put in place when everybody contributes and that's why it's so valuable to be present at Floriade and connect to its visitors. There's a true need to reconnect with nature, to bring it back into the cities in order to produce healthy food, but also to make and maintain cities agreeable places to live.

In the coming six months EatThis. wants to stimulate this connection with society and worked with  Marieke van den Heuvel and Stephan Petermann of MANN in setting up a dialogue with visitors by way of two different themes: the significance of technology in sustainable cultivation and the connection between food production and the city. It is our pleasure to invite you to meet us at the Innovation Centre.
