Supplemental light was needed over their Hydrangea crop in order to meet customer's spring orders. However, heat generated by HPS lights created additional challenges in managing the crop. 

By switching to the cooler LEDs, Van Belle discovered that the plants remained compact, which reduced the need to apply PGRs by 10%, and the plants flowered much faster.
