Thanks to its recent successful MBO and investment by Ashridge Capital, Fargro is perfectly positioned to continue its growth trajectory. This appointment is the first step towards delivering the vision of the newly restructured management team.Emma's extensive commercial expertise, gained as CEO of Camelia Botnar, a renowned and successful garden centre and charitable foundation, coupled with the leadership skills that she further developed during 6 years as leadership coach, facilitator and trainer within the fresh produce, horticulture and agriculture sector make her a crucial addition to the team. Her experience of delivering coaching to senior leadership teams from small businesses up to FTSE 100 companies makes her a great fit for her new role, where she has responsibility for Fargro's sales pipeline, including the management and development of 11 area sales managers and the 6-strong customer service team based at its HQ in Arundel, West Sussex.

Richard Hopkins, Managing Director at Fargro Limited, said:

"Emma is a fantastic addition to our team at Fargro. We are moving into a very exciting period of expansion for the business and Emma brings a fresh injection of ideas and enthusiasm, which is exactly what we need.

She is a highly accomplished individual; her tenure as CEO at Camelia Botnar has provided her with both the industry, and management experience that is required in this role. We're looking forward to benefiting from the insight and wisdom she has developed while running her own leadership consultancy.

Fargro is an exciting place to work, with a highly committed, passionate team. We operate in a technologically advanced, environmentally sustainable, and highly innovative sector and have a well-respected brand, built over a period of 75 years.  We are excited that Emma has come on board to join us as we continue to grow and evolve."

Emma Birbeck, newly appointed Sales Director at Fargro, said:

"I am delighted to be working with Richard and the team at Fargro, having spent 6 years working within the fresh produce, horticulture and agriculture industry as a consultant and before that, as CEO of a successful garden centre. This role gives me the perfect opportunity to put my leadership skills to good use while remaining within a sector I find fascinating and stimulating."

"I'm also excited about the opportunity we have to provide the very best support that British growers need to thrive, and I'm already looking at innovations that we can introduce to ensure the continued success of horticulture."
