Even more powerful disinfecting properties

Even though Intra Hydropure has been a leading disinfectant for many years, we are constantly developing and optimising Intra Hydropure. Nevertheless, the starting-point is always that this should never happen at the expense of its unique basic properties: ultra-stable, safe and non-corrosive. Intra Hydropure is a unique blend of H202, silver chelate and α-hydrox. Its composition has now become even more powerful after refining our special silver chelate and increasing our α-Hydrox.

Micronised silver, improved action

Intra Hydropure contains chelated silver. This crucial component is necessary to make hydrogen peroxide ultra-stable. At Intracare, we are able to micronise the silver in Intra Hydropure even more finely. By micronising the silver and therefor increasing the surface for attachment, we where able to lower the total silver content, creating space to significantly increase the level of a-hydrox. α-Hydrox

The α-hydrox molecules provide a specific blend that can easily penetrate the cell membrane of microorganisms. As a result, they are rendered harmless from within. This is a huge advance, particularly for fungi, which have a tough cell membrane. This is why α-hydrox has a clear synergistic effect on Intra Hydropure, resulting in an even more powerful disinfectant.

Governments around the world are increasing their demands regarding the safety and applications of disinfectants. Products that do not have government approval are simply not allowed. At Intracare, we attach great importance to obtaining proper registrations.

Biocide registrations have been assessed in accordance with new European standards. Whereas previously, each country had an individual registration and assessment body, the EU has recently switched to a new and strict registration system that is harmonised throughout the European Union, led by ECHA, also known as BPR (European Biocidal Products Regulation).

Intra Hydropure has its own EU-BPR registration for use in greenhouse horticulture. As such, Intra Hydropure is unique since it is not based on a derivative industrial peroxide. Biocide use is subject to strict regulations. Using agents that do not comply with the legislation is strictly forbidden. When growing with, or after using agents that are not allowed for use with irrigation systems, fruit and vegetables can be subject to recalls!
