Flowers Canada Growers floriculture stats update

Using data from Statistics Canada, the update looks at exports and imports pre and post-COVID.
This monthly update notes that “as this data pertains to January 2023 information, there is only one data point available for 2023.”
Exports
Between March 2022 and January 2023, inflation-adjusted exports were up 43.3 per cent from the same period pre-COVID average. Exports were up by 2.3 per cent over the same period last year, from March 2021 to December 2022.
Imports
This monthly update splits imports into three categories; input, competitive and neutral.
Input imports were those used by domestic growers to grow their outputs. In this category, from March 2022 to January 2023, inflation-adjusted input imports were up 26 per cent from the same pre-COVID period. They were down 3.8 per cent over the same period last year of March. 2021 to December 2022.
