Rosselkhoznadzor allows the import of tomatoes into Russia

The decision was made under the guarantees of the State Plant Quarantine Inspection under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as based on the results of laboratory tests for the absence of the tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) in the specified products of these companies.

The following enterprises can import tomatoes from 3 March 2021:

- "Tarakkiyot sari service" MCHJ (Kashkadarya region);

- "Kashkadaryo greenhouse tarakkiyot invest" MCJ (Kashkadarya region);

- "Saidazimkhon" MCJ (Kashkadarya region);

- "Zarafshon Grand Bulgaria" MCJ (Navoi region);

- LLC "KARMANA AGROTRADING" (Navoi region);

- LLC "Maftunkor Bakhor" (Navoi region).

The import of tomatoes from Navoi and Kashkadarya regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan was prohibited on 4 December and 11 December 2020 due to the detection of the tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) in the products.
