SePRO boosts team of ornamental technical specialists

When John Wendorf assumed the role of Director for SePRO's Turf & Ornamental (T&O) division in December 2020, he emphasized his commitment to attracting and retaining the industry's best and brightest for SePRO's T&O team. Now, Wendorf and his associates are making good on that commitment by announcing the first of several new additions planned for the growing business.

Todd Stassel has joined SePRO's central region as an Ornamental Technical Specialist. Stassel is extremely passionate about the ornamental industry as evidenced by his career of nearly 40 years in the business. With expertise in supporting professional growers, Stassel is known for his ability to leverage proven strategies and best practices to enhance outcomes. Stassel is a graduate of Dupage Horticulture School.

Jack Edwards is the new Ornamental Technical Specialist at SePRO. Edwards is no stranger to SePRO, having successfully completed an internship with the company's Consumer Sales division during the summer of 2020. He graduated from Purdue University in December 2020 with a degree in Agribusiness and a minor in Biochemistry.

For Wendorf the staff additions exemplify SePRO's commitment to the turf and ornamental industry.

"There is an incredible opportunity within the T&O segment, but it requires high-level talent combined with innovative solutions," Wendorf says. "As a result, SePRO will continue to recruit the industry's best-in-class professionals."
