During the negotiations, issues of establishing cooperation on the implementation of investment projects for the introduction of intensive horticulture based on Spanish technologies, as well as the construction of a nursery for garden planting seedlings in Uzbekistan were discussed.

The Viveros Veron, founded in 1917, specializes in horticulture, the production of seedlings of fruit crops and ornamental trees, as well as selection work, the cultivation of new stone varieties under the registered VEF Internacional brand. The company is a leader in the supply of a wide variety of fruit crops, and also provides a full range of technical support services.

During the meeting, the Uzbek side presented a presentation of the export and investment potential of the republic and the prospects for the development of the domestic agricultural industry.

The Spanish company has expressed interest in establishing close cooperation with Uzbekistan and implementing joint projects to introduce intensive gardens. It is assumed that the grown products will be exported to Russia, China, the UAE, Japan, Malaysia and other countries.

As a result, an agreement was reached to organize a visit to Spain by a delegation of the Agency for the Development of Horticulture and Greenhouse Management under the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan to familiarize themselves with the activities of Viveros Veron and determine further steps for the implementation of investment projects in our republic.
