GreenTech Americas will host its 5th edition from 25-27 March at the Querétaro Centro de Congresos in Mexico. The event features a comprehensive conference programme with experts and interactive sessions. Topics include “How to drive sustainability with energy efficiency” by Karin van der Eijk (VDE Plant), the Power Day with the theme “Passion for people or just profit?”, and “Optimising supply chains and the impact of climate change on protected agriculture” by Jason Whitcher (Mastronardi Produce Ltd.).

Tuesday 25 March:

  • 08:30 - 10:55: Workshop: “Everything you have to know about cultivating hydroponics leafy greens by Sonny Moerenhout (Cultivators), Joost Somford (JASA Packaging Solutions), Patrik Borenius (Green Automation Americas LLC), Carlos H Umana (Nunhems/BASF Vegetable Seeds)  
  • 12:45 - 13:30: Find out how VDE Plant drives sustainability with energy efficiency and a committed team at the International Strategic Conference by keynote speaker Karin van der Eijk (VDE Plant)
  • 16:00 - 16:45: “Mexico facing the challenge of tariffs and the TMEC: Threat or opportunity for the economy?” by Dolores Aguirre (Aguirre y Asociados, S.C.) and moderated by Alfredo Díaz (AMHPAC)

Wednesday 26 March:

  • 08:30 - 11:00: The Power Day will focus on the theme "Passion for people or just profit?" with presentations and moderated discussions led by industry leaders.
  • 13:00 - 13:45: “Optimizing supply chains for global competitiveness, automation, labor efficiency, and yield maximization to lower production costs at the International Strategic Conference with keynote speaker Jason Whitcher (Mastronardi Produce Ltd.) and moderated by Ricardo Martínez (Asesores en Invernaderos)
