Sweeping fine dust particles easier than ever

Sweeping fine dust particles easier than ever

Since the launch of the Stefix 135 at IPM Essen in 2016, this machine has proven to be an international success. This machine has since been sold many times and is still very popular in 2020. This is mainly due to the fact that this machine has been specially designed to clean up uneven surfaces. This includes the anti-root cloth that is used to cover the cultivation floor, both in the greenhouse and outdoors.

Previously, the fine dust was cleaned up by workers using leaf blowers or brooms, which often took a lot of time and was also not hygienic. This caused the blown dust to descend on the surrounding crops.

In order to resolve this problem, Steenks Service introduced the Stefix 135. This sit-on sweeping and suction machine has wide wheels that do not damage the cloth, leaves no marks and absorbs the fine dust.  Besides sweeping up fine dust, other waste is also swept up, such as seeds. The Stefix 135 has a capacity of 10,000 square meters per hour and thanks to the special tracking of the wheels, the machine leaves no traces.

For growers who need to use a sweeper less often, the Stefix 73 is a good alternative. This walk-behind machine is somewhat smaller in size and has a capacity of 3,400 square meters per hour.
