The innovative rose harvesting trolleys

The search for the ideal rose trolleys
In the search for new rose harvesting trolleys, Van den Ende Rozen ended up at Steenks Service. In conversation with Steenks Service, the wishes that the new harvest trolleys had to have were stated. For example, the rose trolleys had to be very reliable and low-maintenance, so that disruptions are minimal and that there will be little maintenance or downtime. With regard to the ease of work, the search was on for a trolley whose platform, hip control and rose box are easily adjustable in height. A car with two removable buckets was also sought to take the cut tendrils in.
Development, testing and successful implementation of harvest trolleys
These rose harvesting trolleys that meet the aforementioned requirements were not part of the range and have been fully developed in consultation with Van den Ende roses.
"Eventually we brought the list of requirements to Berkvens Greenhouse mobility, our supplier of rose harvesting trolleys. They first made drawings, followed by a prototype. After a long test period, we have now delivered 46 vehicles that are currently in use 7 days a week." according to Sander Zuidgeest, co-owner of Steenks Service.
These new rose wagons are distinguished by the following features:
• Closed travel drive (= no chain)
• Platform mechanically and easily adjustable in height
• Height-adjustable rose boxes, buckets and hip switch.
• Large traction batteries with which you can work for a long time without charging
• Drive control in push handle
