The most innovative virtual event so far

Jungle Talks Team moderated "Global Orchid Event" through the most innovative virtual event platform you've ever imagined. Global Orchid Event brought orchid growers community together in this special way, aiming to give us valuable insights about orchid industry. Global Orchid Growers (GOG) was the first virtual Global Orchid Event, organised by ten leading Phalaenopsis producers representing seven countries and five continents.

The event took place at 15.30 CEST on July 8. Renee Snijders and Ed Smit, founders and directors at Jungle Talks, welcomed the attendees and briefed them about four stage rooms and their inspirational contents. Please check the topics and keynote speakers as below.

The first virtual "Global Orchid Event" will definitely go down in history as one of the most memorable. It was quite impressive that moving around on the screen to meet people virtually like you're walking towards them in the venue.

I'd like to share a few comments I've received from people who experienced this smart event, while we were having a chat with them at the "Orchid Bar" on the platform.

"I've attended many virtual events during the pandemic but this one was an excellent execution!"
Marc Boria
- CosMic Plants Canada

'It's my first time and I really enjoyed it. Thanks to organizers!"
Martin De Deyne- GearBox Innovations

"This might be a very interesting platform for the future. This time it's dedicated to orchids but we could do this for roses, vegetables or whatever you like. This is so far the platform that's been the closest way to real physical meeting, as you're able sit next to each other, listen to each other."
Ed Smit - Jungle Talks
