The new insect management options for vegetable growers

BASF is giving greenhouse vegetable growers more access to insect and mite control tools with the addition of four new supplemental labels.

Three of these labels were added for Sultan miticide for greenhouse-grown vegetables and transplants for the home consumer market. The new supplemental labels include cucumbers, strawberries, tomatoes, and peppers.

Sultan miticide controls all life stages of spider mites: eggs, nymphs, and adults. It is effective against mites that have developed resistance to other miticides. Benefits include:

A new supplemental label for Ventigra insecticide is also available for commercial production of greenhouse-grown cucumbers, fruiting vegetables, strawberries, and strawberry transplants grown for the home consumer market. Ventigra offers control of labeled piercing and sucking insect pests, including those that have developed resistance to other insecticides. Benefits include:
