Redding, CA – Beneficial Insectary, which is part of the Biobest division under the BioFirst Group, is pleased to announce that Jimmy (Jim) McCanlies has joined the team as Sales Director USA.

Jim has an impressive background within the horticultural and agricultural industry. His passion for the success of growers and the supply chain that feeds them will be instrumental as Beneficial Insectary continues to innovate and expand within the US market. Jim's appointment underscores the company’s commitment to growth, achievable only through the success of its partners and the dedication of team members serving growers every day.

In his new role, Jim will be responsible for positioning the Beneficial Insectary brand in the US market. He will develop and manage the US sales, technical and marketing team.  Additionally, Jim will be tasked with developing and implementing strategic initiatives focused on customer intimacy and innovation to accelerate growth in the US market. He will also cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and important industry stakeholders, aiming to make Beneficial Insectary the preferred supplier of biocontrol solutions.

Jim will be available at Cultivate from July 13-16, and visitors are invited to stop by booth 1833 to meet him and discover the company’s latest initiatives.
