Midwest Groundcovers have a new president

Midwest Groundcovers has appointed Paul R. Pirkle to the position of President. Pirkle brings extensive experience in executive leadership, sales team training, and business operations to Midwest from positions in recycling brokerage, and commercial printing servicing the Fleet, Retail, OEM, and consumer products markets. He holds an MBA from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Minor in Management from Hanover College, and has a proven track record of visionary leadership, strategy development, and team collaboration.

“I am excited to be a part of the Midwest Groundcovers team. We produce high-quality product in lovely nurseries with exceptional people who have a customer-first attitude. It’s a perfect combination,” Pirkle says.

Pirkle most recently served as President of Mid America Paper Recycling, a $50 million national recycling firm and scrap processor, where he initiated KPI and tracking processes for production and inventory, launched a comprehensive marketing plan, and developed a large account management program.
