Syngenta welcomes Riley Titus to U.S. state affairs team

GREENSBORO, N.C., USA – Syngenta Crop Protection is proud to announce that Riley Titus has accepted the position of state affairs lead, effective May 20, 2024, reporting to David Flakne, head of U.S. State Affairs. In this role, Riley will oversee the management and implementation of legislative and regulatory priorities and stakeholder relations in key states within the western corn belt, mid-South and mid-Atlantic regions. He joins a team of four who advocate for and support the U.S. business.

Titus began his career in government relations and public policy in 2012 after graduating from Florida State University with a degree in environmental science and policy. He comes to Syngenta from CropLife America, where he held the position of director of state

government relations and managed stakeholder engagement and directed state advocacy efforts for the last eight years. Prior to CropLife America, he worked at RISE as a manager of state public affairs and the International Franchise Association as a manager of government relations and public policy.
